Here's a blast from the past! I was sifting through my backups and found this piece from 2000. I bought a Wacom tablet just for this job. The client was very specific about the look and feel. They wanted the illustration to mimic the look of Early American paintings. The flattened perspective, the foreshortening, the overly-decorated, very detailed look. They LOVED it.
